Here is my revision of Trish’s narrative on French Culture. Grammatically there really wasn’t anything to change except a misspelling. However, there are few things I would change in the content. Let me explain. I’m pretty lazy at heart, so when I’m researching something, I don’t what to have to jump around to a lot of links without a good reason. The links that Trish has included here might be very good ones, but I'm not inspired to try them. Give me a reason to go to these links and give me something in particular to look for. Make it personal. Why do you love French culture? Be specific. Make me want to love it, too. Does that all make sense?

French culture has always been one of my fascinations in life. I've enjoyed viewing travel guides, websites, and cookbooks which portray the French way of life. I'm learning the French language for the first time in my life and I plan to travel to France the summer of 2007.

I have recently learned that over one-third of the English language is either derived from the French language or is a direct French word. Over 5 continents and several countries around the world use French in part of their communication. See Why Learn French to check out the facts.

View magazines of French culture:

Enjoy the variety of French music as you relax with a book or participate in multiple tasks around the house: Music of France

I have clicked to enjoy each of these and have each link collected on my favorites.
