Invaders in the Cafeteria: The Infiltration of Competitive Foods in Public Schools

The mission of Food for Thought is to educate goverment officials and raise public awareness about the nutritional emptiness of the food choices available in public schools.

It is our goal to:

• promote a greater awareness of the nutritional needs of children,

• critique and improve the existing nutritional guidelines used in public schools, and

• change the legislation currently governing the distribution of competitive foods within the schools.
