I. Informal writing (blogging) for this week:

1. explore and describe a problem, issue, or text of your choosing. Find a contested term, and select that term for further definitional work.

2. Find a web initiative that addresses the issue or problem you are considering. What is their mission statement? What definitional strategies do the writers use in their statement? Sample the language of this mission statement into your wiki space, create a link to this same mission statement, and briefly describe the technical writing this mission entails.

• Read all of your classmates' definitional blogs

• Create links to and between at least two definitional blogs.

• On your blog space, informally and briefly sample (with attribution) from at least two classmates definitional blogs. Briefly introduce, frame, and add to the ideas you repurpose and combine.
