I think I need a litte more explanation on this particular blog. However, I am willing to give it a shoot.

The sound I like to hear are people prasing or slightly worshiping me. I am just kidding!!!
The sound that every body is familiar with is silence. Pause for just a moment and Listen to the sound track I have provided for you.

Bueatiful isn't. The title is silence. I wish I could play that sound track more often. It seem like I rarely get to play the silence track because everything is so noisey or maybe we are afraid of the silence. I think we should turn up the volume on silence and enjoy it more. It is with this sound track my mind is clear and most focused. This sound track is also good for quiet reflection. It seem to be the music that distracts me the least.

The old saying, " silence is golden"

Yes, thank you for directing our attention to the silence between all sounds. Remembering silence may help us in our narrative revisions this week:

In a short essay titled The Sounds of Silence Peter Gutman offers his thoughts about John Cage's famous silent work titled 4'33'':

"Although often described as a silent piece, 4'33" isn't silent at all. While the performer makes as little sound as possible, Cage breaks traditional boundaries by shifting attention from the stage to the audience and even beyond the concert hall. You soon become aware of a huge amount of sound, ranging from the mundane to the profound, from the expected to the surprising, from the intimate to the cosmic –shifting in seats, riffling programs to see what in the world is going on, breathing, the air conditioning, a creaking door, passing traffic, an airplane, ringing in your ears, a recaptured memory. This is a deeply personal music, which each witness creates to his/her own reactions to life. Concerts and records standardize our responses, but no two people will ever hear 4'33" the same way. It's the ultimate sing-along: the audience (and the world) becomes the performer" (Gutman 1999).
